The Office of the President, Regional Administration and Local Government (OR – PMO-RALG) has approved the appointment of 7,612 Health Cadre Staff for Council Hospitals, Health Centers and Dispensaries as well as 9,800 Primary and Secondary School Teachers to do work under Local Government Authorities.
Thus, graduates from Higher Education Colleges, Teachers Colleges and Government recognized Colleges of Health are announced to submit job applications from April 20 – 04 May, 2022. Vacancies are available for Diploma, Diploma graduate graduates. (Diploma) and Degree.
A: PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR TEACHER EMPLOYMENT
All qualified teachers should submit applications online via the employment link.tamisemi.go.tz. This announcement applies to Graduates of Teacher Training Courses from 2015 to 2021. Applicants who have previously submitted their applications through the employment application system are required to re-apply.
1.0 QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANTS
1.1 PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
Teachers who are required to apply must have the following qualifications:
1.2 PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
Teachers who apply to be employed to teach Primary Schools should have the following qualifications:
i. Teacher Grade III A – Diploma in Primary Education Teaching Certificate (Primary Education);
ii. Grade III B Teacher – Diploma in Teaching from Postgraduate Education;
iii. Grade III B Teacher – Diploma in Primary Education Teacher;
iv. Teacher Grade III C – With a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education; and
v. Teacher Grade III A, III B and III C – Diploma, Diploma and Teacher’s Degree (Special Education) for Language and Arts Studies.
1.3 SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
i. Grade III B Teacher – Diploma in Teaching who studied Special Education in English Language, Geography, History, Kiswahili, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics;
ii. Grade III C – A Master’s Degree in Special Education in English Language, Geography, History, Kiswahili, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics;
iii. Grade III B Teacher – Diploma in Teaching Diploma in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Basic Mathematics;
iv. Teacher Class III C – With a Master’s Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology;
v. Teacher Class III C – With a Master’s Degree in English Language, English Literature, Chinese Language, French Language and Kiswahili;
vi. Teacher Class III C – With a Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accountancy and Economics;
vii. Teacher Grade III B – Diploma in Teaching Education Education Book Booking and Commerce;
viii. Teacher Grade III C – With a Master’s Degree in General Studies, History and Geography;
ix. Teacher Grade III B – Diploma in Teaching for Civics, History, Geography, English Language and Kiswahili;
x. Teacher Class III C – Bachelor of Science in / with Physical Education; and
xi. Teacher Grade III B – Diploma in Physical Education.
B: PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING FOR KADA HEALTH JOBS
Qualified Health Cadre Specialists should apply online through the employment link.tamisemi.go.tz. Applicants who have previously submitted their applications through the employment application system are required to re-apply.
2.0 Qualifications of Applicants are as follows: –
2.1 DOCTOR GRADE II
Applicants must have a Doctor of Humanities Degree from Government / Universally recognized Universities / Colleges. Applicants should be finished Internship training for a period of not less than one year and obtaining registration from the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
2.2 DENTIST GRADE II
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities from Government-recognized Universities / Colleges who have completed at least one year internship and obtained registration from the Medical Council of Tanganyika (Medical Council of Tanganyika).
2.3 MEDICINE GRADE II
Applicants must have a three-year Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a Government Recognized College.
2.4 DENTAL GRADE II
Applicants must have a three-year Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from a Government Recognized College.
2.5 ASSISTANT MEDICINE
Applicants must have a two-year Diploma in Clinical Assistant Certificate from a Government Recognized College.
2.6 GRADE II PHARMACIST
Applicants must have a Pharmacy Degree from a Government-recognized College that has a one-year internship and who is registered with the Pharmacy Council.
2.7 TECHNOLOGY GRADE II
Applicants must have a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology for a period of three years from a Government-recognized College and who are registered with the Pharmacy Council.
2.8 TECHNOLOGY (LABORATORY) GRADE II
Applicants must have a Diploma in Health Laboratory Science for a period of three years from a Government recognized College and who are registered with the Health Laboratory Practitioners ’Council.
2.9 ASSISTANT TECHNOLOGY (LABORATORY)
Applicants must have a Diploma in the field of Health Laboratory Technology (Certificate in Health Laboratory Science) for a period of two years from a Government recognized College and who are registered with the Health Laboratory Practitioners ’Council.
2.10 TECHNOLOGY GRADE II
Applicants must have a Diploma in Radiology (Radiology / Radiography) for a period of three years from a Government recognized College. Applicants must be registered with the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professionals Council.
2.11 GRADE II NURSING OFFICER
Applicants must have a Nursing Degree from a Government-recognized University, a one-year internship who are registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwifery Council.
2.12 ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER GRADE II
Applicants must have a Certificate of Nursing of at least two years from a Government recognized College, registered with the Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council.
2.13 NURSE GRADE II
Applicants must have a two-year Nursing Certificate from a Government-recognized and Enrolled College by the Tanzania Nurse and Midwifery Council.
2.14 STANDARD CONDITIONAL TREATMENT EQUIPMENT II
Applicants must have a three-year Full Technician Certificate from a Government Recognized College.
2.15 ASSISTANT ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OFFICER GRADE II
Applicants must have a three-year Environmental Health Science Diploma from a Government recognized college and registered with the Environmental Health Practitioners ’Registration Council.
2.16 HEALTH SUPPORT
Applicants should be Form Four graduates who have qualified for one year in Health, Community Health or any other training. similar from Government-recognized Health Colleges.
2.17 HEALTH SECRETARY GRADE II
Applicants must have a Health Services Administration Degree from a Government recognized University.
2.18 SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER GRADE II
Applicants must have an Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Social Protection, Guidance and Counseling, Theology, Divinity, Child Protection, Social Policy, Early Childhood Development, Social Gerontology, Dietetics or other disciplines similar to Social Welfare from the Government Recognized College of Higher Education.
2.19 NUTRITION OFFICER GRADE II
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Chemical and Nutrition Science or Food Science and Food Technology (BSc – Nutrition, Home Economics and Nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Food Science) or Higher Diploma in Nutrition ) from a Government College of Higher Education.
3.0 GENERAL TERMS OF JOB APPLICATIONS
i. Be a citizen of Tanzania;
ii. Must be at least 45 years of age;
iii. Have a full qualification in the field of study (Form Four, Six, Professional and Full Registration) or a valid License to work for a particular profession);
iv. Not be a Government Employee or Employee of Religious Organizations Hospitals whose salaries are paid by the Government;
v. Applicants employed on a contract of employment from Development Stakeholders in the Health Sector are required to attach copies of the contract and letters of confirmation from the Directors of the respective Councils;
vi. Must not have been fired, resigned or retired from the Public Service;
vii. Have a National Identification Number (NIN); and
viii. Attach a copy of the birth certificate.
4.0 IMPORTANT FACTORS TO CONSIDER FOR ALL APPLICANTS
i. All applicants should be willing to work in the designated Councils / Centers;
ii. Applicants should be willing to work with Organizations or Institutions that have entered into Partnerships with Government;
iii. Once a work center has been assigned, there will be no space for a work center;
iv. All applicants should ensure that they complete their information and attach all the necessary documents to the system; and
v. Job applications are free.
5.0 GRADUATED STUDENTS ABROAD
i. All applicants who have studied Secondary Education abroad are required to obtain an Equivalent Number starting with the Letter EQ… from the Examinations Council of Tanzania to enable them to enter the Employment System; and
ii. Applicants who have studied in foreign universities are required to obtain a study certificate from the Tanzania Colleges and Universities Commission (TCU) so that their certificates can be recognized and validated for use in the country.
